Hello, Old Friend.

I used to watch you as you followed me, I used to always pay attention to you. You used to scare me as I walked along, I used to be jumpy when I saw you.

But now you're just an old friend. I smile when I see you it because now it means that there is light guiding my way, that things are brighter than they were.

Today you're a reminder that things are better, and looking brighter than ever before.

Thank you, Old Friend, thank you.

Behind the Scenes: Time Lapse

The risks in taking photos or time lapses. 

In this particular shot I had my phone balancing against a stone and just beyond this shot was a body of water. Thankfully the wind never blew strong enough to knock my phone into the water. 

I have since invested in a better set up and hopefully will no longer to need to risk my phone's life.. Who am I kidding? I'm going to do it again!

Plus, I did end up getting a nice time lapse from this set up.
